Good friend and great guide, Captain Doug Hemmer, suffered a debilitating back injury that's going to require a very expensive surgical operation and months of rehabilitation. His friends in the industry have come together to help out the bay areas most notable and well respected guides to put on the Dreamfish Fishing Tournament.
You can participate in the tournament for as little as $25 or enjoy a guided trip, with two anglers, for $200 with all proceeds benefitting Captain Doug's surgery and rehab!
Enjoy great food provided by Hooters and the Hooters Girls or fantastic barbeque. There will be prizes and give aways from sponsors including: Betts Fishing Center, Mastry's Tackle, Johnny's Bait and Tackle, Seaspension, Serider, Dogfish Tackle and many more.
Celebrity guests include: Mike Alstott, Chip Carter and Terry Tomalin. There will be live music, a comedy roast, auctions, give aways and more.
The tournament will be at Fort DeSoto Park on Oct. 3rd from sunrise till noon. Guided trips are being donated by the following bay area captains:
