One Extreme to the Other

As if someone from above just turns on and off a switch, my phone rang quite a bit last week w people wanting to fish. I fished a guy from Georgia on 8-28. He liked snook fishing so much that he changed our Sat. the 29th night trip from tarpon to dock light snook. I told him the underwater lights were like an aquarium of fish, except the fish were free to come and go as they please.

So before the sat. night' trip, i get a call from a friend Craig. He says Sunday morning at the ramp by 6AM and we are going way offshore. I always jump at offshore trips just because it breaks the cycle of inshore fishing all the time. There i was w the dilemna. Could I have enough energy to go offshore Sunday after a late night Sat night trip. Yeah sure. So on 3 hours sleep after a night of snook catching, I was on my way out to the depths. Ill always remember days like these as I will only have so many of them in a lifetime. Man free food is a good thing. The big groupers and snappers in 200 feet was quite a change not to mention its alw2ays nice to put some food in the freezer.
