Captain Clay Eavenson -  Inshore

Capt. Clay is a professional baseball player turned professional fisherman. 4 years with the New York Yankees organization was all it took for Clay to realize that he was a better fisherman than a baseball player. At least that's what the Yankees told him... in not so many words. But, during his time with the Yankees he learned several very important lessons that apply to guiding fishing charters as well.

1.) Be the best at every aspect of what you do.

2.) Work harder than everyone else.

3.) Use only the best equipment and take pride in maintaining it.

4.) Be an eager student and a humble teacher.
Capt. Clay wouldn't claim to be the best guide in the area but he has learned from some of the very best guides and fishermen that Florida has to offer. When you hire Capt. Clay to take you on a fishing excursion you'll have a hard working, knowledgeable, humble Capt. guiding you on the finest boats while using the best fishing equipment.

Capt. Clay competes on the FLW Wal-Mart Redfish Tour where he and his partner finished in 17th overall for the 2007 season out of 175 teams. His most recent top 5 finish was in an ESPN/O'boy O'berto Redfish Nation event out of Tampa Bay where he and his partner finished in 2nd place.

As an avid redfish tournament angler, Capt. Clay has a passion for artificial lure fishing for redfish. If you're interested in a fishing trip tailored to fishing with artificial lures, please be sure to mention that when you call.

Land O Lakes, FL is where Capt. Clay resides with his wife and two children. They enjoy taking boat rides out to Anclote Island, fishing on their neighborhood lake, and attending Grace Family Church.
