| I moved with my family at the age of eight to Tampa in 1968. Coming from the inner city of Philadelphia it was quit the culture shock. The country type atmosphere with an abundance of lakes and ponds was a great place for a young boy to grow and develop a love of fishing. In the early 1980's a friend introduced me to the world of snook fishing and I was what you could say hooked! |
I have never looked back and have been chasing snook, redfish, trout and other saltwater species ever since. I enjoy fishing a few of the local redfish tournaments now and then and have had some decent finishes in the top 5.
I took my love of fishing to the next level and became a U.S.C.G. licensed captain so I could offer 1/2,3/4 and full day fishing trips to the general public. So whether you are a novice angler eager to learn or the accomplished angler looking for a trophy I would be more than happy to serve you. Capt. Steve Betz |
