I think I've finished up rewriting the forum url's and adding nofollow links. You shouldn't have noticed any difference in the forum and all of the old url's should be redirected to the new so there should be no reason to update any links or bookmarks unless you find it convenient.

The benefits of the changes:

• Shorter addresses and easier to bookmark, link to and reference.
• Ensures that all pages/content can be accessed from a single url (no "duplicate content" )
• Fewer variables make it easier for search engines to crawl.
• Focus the search engines on content and not printer friendly, email to a friend, etc. type links that have little value to searchers.

If you notice any difficulties, have comments, or find old ur's that can't be accessed directly, please post them here.
