The boat is back and better than ever!!!

For those of you that dont know i have a 14 foot mini flats boat powerd by a 15 horse evinrude tiller.  The motor tryed giving up on me about 6 months ago but im back and so is the boat for more reports!  I found the problems and flaws in the motor as well as customized the boat further to make it better than ever!  The boat is one of a kind made in crystal river. Its a flat bottom tunnel hull with 3 Foam filled stringers. It has 2 casting decks one on the bow and one on the stern. it also has a 60 lb thrust minn kota trolling motor on it.  It had a center console in it which was originally used for cable steering which i thought was rediculous. So I cut out the center console and installed a soft topped igloo marine cooler with mounting brackets. Then i wired permanent bow and stern lights with a switch. The stern is a pop in with a permanent base.  Then I installed a custom dry box in the center console along with 4 new flush monted rod holders to replace the ones on the console.  So abut 250 bucks went fast but ill find out if it was worth it soon enough.  Its all set, the motor is up and running and im ready to take her out. Now all i need is a few days off of work and ill be out on the water again!

Way to go and welcome back! That sure is good news, I know it has to have been killing you. Major props on doing the work yourself, you I'm sure you saved a whole lot of money and probably picked up some new skills.
