The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council will convene a public meeting of the Ad Hoc Recreational Red Snapper Advisory Panel (AP). The AP will focus on specific issues within recreational red snapper fishery management including data collection, education and enforcement, artificial reefs and marine reserves, bycatch reduction, and limited access privilege programs such as individual fishing quotas and angling management organizations. The meeting will convene at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 and conclude no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2008. This meeting will be held at the Quorum Hotel, 700 N.
