Just an FYI, in the process of rewriting the url's I figured I might as well do the captains pages to make the links more friendly. I have put a 301 redirect in place so that anyone who has bookmarked your old page will be seemlessly be redirected to the new. I will be removing the redirects in a month or so after visitors have had a chance to update their bookmarks.

The old url's were tampabaycharter.com/captain1.asp. captain2.asp, etc. and they are now tampabaycharter.com/captain-first-last.asp. The only exception is Captain Tommy Z who's new url is http://www.tampabaycharter.com/captain-tommy-z.asp.

Example: Captain Ricks page used to be http://www.tampabaycharter.com/captain1.asp and it is now http://www.tampabaycharter.com/captain-rick-frazier.asp.

As our list of trust worthy local captains grows it just seemed more professional/personal and will make the captains pages more "searchable" particularly as the data base grows.

All of the links in the site should be updated but if you happen to mouse over one and see a different url in the status bar... please post the page here.

I think that most won't care or notice, but for those who do... I hope that you see the benefit and appreciate that it's all just part of our continued effort to support the best captains in the world!
