Captains, I have started coding the pages and entering the data for the captains preferred ports. If you would take the time to check out the Bay Area Boat Ramps page and select the port in your area that you most frequently use we will add it to your captains page.

Right now the port listings are just a name but we will be adding a pop up window with a Google Map that will provide driving directions.

Please feel free to email me, or to post your preferred port here. I have tried to enter the ramps that would be most logical for our listings but if yours is missing please feel free to let me know. (I'd need the name, street address, city and zip code)

I will be entering a port for each captain shortly (so that we can add the functionality) but would always be willing to change it upon your request. As the pages are pulled from a data base we will need to add the information for every captain represented.

When this piece is finished it may make sense to have two or three ports associated with each captain but one will have to do for now. It should enhance the visitors experience and make locating the right captain more logical when we add the search functions.

I finished adding the code to the captains pages so that when a visitor clicks on your port a Google Map pops up in the middle of the screen (from which they can request driving instructions).

For the captains whose port wasn't sent I just picked one that was already in the data base that seemed logical. Please let me know if the one listed for you isn't appropriate, is inaccurate or if another ramp should be added for you.

We may add multiple locations for each captain a little later but I'm hoping that this works for now. 

Please feel free to submit any information on area ramps/marina's if all else is good. We do expect to be expanding that section and would really appreciate information from your personal experiences.
