Well I got the call up at 8am today from the Capt. and he was ready to rock and roll. Will and I were about to start school work , but said what the heck lets do this. So off we headed to meet the Capt. and his son for some offshore fun. Noah ,Glens son is only 5 but he is a chip off the old block. The wind was blowing so we stayed close to shore after finding a few nice green bait to fish with. The water was in the mid 70s and that wind was out of the north at 15mph. We trolled at a slow speed and drifted to find fish. The boys got into fish right away with a few nice macks coming over the side of the boat to start. Noah was using this tiny ice fishing pole on these macks. It was wild to watch him put the wood to those toothy fish. The StowawayBoy had a big day as well hooking into and landing his first 25 pound king fish. It was funny to hear him go on about grouper fishing until he got to fight his king fish. After a 20min fight and some great runs by the king. Glen grabbed it by the tail and put him in the boat. High fives for everyone was in order. After that the wind got real bad so we head to the dock with our catch. Noah and Glen thanks for the good times. StowawayBoy hats off to you and your big fish.
