Let me start out by saying I really enjoy getting people their firsts on the water whether it is a snook,Tarpon, Cobia or my favorite the inshore slam.I have lost count of how many people that have gotten their slam for the first time on my boat, but I get enjoyment every time I see that persons face light up from getting a first or a personal best.

Well we arrive at the first spot with Ray and Mike(Sgt Air Force) and we start talking and I bring up a trip I had with three guys 2 from Boston that all slammed even though the cursed banana was on the boat and we all laughed and Mike and Ray both say they have never slammed.I said well that's it we have to change that and everyone on the boat has to slam today that is the goal.

Well we start off with Mike breaking the ice with a trout and Ray following with several nice trout 20 -22".Then we all are catching trout and I say its time to move to get on some snook and reds and they are like we're with you.So we make the move and it was the right one before long the snook started coming to the boat and I say all I need is a red and the next cast brought me one. So of coarse the prodding started about Ray and mike slacking and then Ray hits his first slam and the high fives go off.Now mike is getting razzed( all in good fun and clowning around ) your holding us up and Ray is really laying it on thick like he has caught thousands of slams(even though his first was 5 Min's ago) so we are all laughing about that. Then Mike gets his slam(the high five fire off) and now we realize all we need is more reds for multiple slams and by the end of the trip mike was all smiles with three slams under his belt and seven slams to the boat for the day

Totals

7 Slams

32 Snook

7 Reds

25 trout

Here are some pics
