| The fishing has been a bit different using springlike patterns to locate fish.A warm winter has kept snook from moving up the rivers and keeping them on the flats and creek mouths.I have been mostly targeting sheepshead and redfish with a few snook in the mix. This time of year a livewell full of shrimp working docks and seawall riprap you can catch a variety of species in one location.I have been dicing the shrimp in small pieces and tossing a few out to the location my clients are fishing. Then we are following up with a 1/8 to 1/4 short shank jighead and a piece of shrimp attached. The largest sheepshead has been 5 pounds caught here lately but a blast on light tackle. The cold front that just passed should move the fish to dark muddy bottoms and up the rivers so that is were i will be. Good luck!
