I had the pleasure of taking out Jay and his six year old son Jarred out again to do some

flats fishing.Last year it was redfish and this year they both got their first and multiple

Snook with five trout put in the mix also.It was flat calm out Friday morning which made

for a beautiful ride out to Weedon and with a well full of whitebait,I couldn't wait to get them

their first Snook each.Jay was more worried about his son having a great time ( great Dad)

so that's who we concentrated on and he caught Snook, trout and also tangled with a 3' bonnet

head while it lasted and after reassuring him that no shark was gonna hurt him while on my boat,

he started to fish again.I couldn't leave Dad out of the action he landed multiple snook and a few trout.

The bite was not on fire but if you kept at it you could get a bite to happen and for a half day trip it was

a good time for a Father and son with new firsts under their belt on the same day. Here are some pics

of Dad and his little guy.(who loves bait)
