(70.126.89.33) | Every once in a while I will check out what is going on in the virtual world.
The fishing in October was spectacular! The last couple days saw a mass migration of bait north and south. The fish are following and these tides force you to launch later in the afternoon or at night to hit the outgoing tide.
Trout is out of the question! They bite readily though so be careful and have your dehooker ready. Try to keep a tight line! Trout will eat without giving you notice that someone is home. This lends itself to stomach hooked fish. Keeping the line tight will make you aware of a strike. Reel fast and keep your tip up. Maintain pressure, get the fish in, wet your hands and use the dehooker if you need it.
I am hoping to get another shot at those mackerel. We need a west wind to blow them inshore! Lets hope!
Hope your days our on the water are safe and dry!
Make sure you vote today!
