I had a repeat customer call me on short notice for a charter since his brother flew in they wanted to catch snook. They had a great time last year and this year was even better for them. They are a couple of down to earth fun guys who are a pleasure to take fishing.

The bite was a little slow in the beginning with Bob having the hot hand, but we were waiting on the major and some great tide movement due to the full moon for the good bite. Then Bruce started getting in on the action and getting a few snook. As the bite slows we move and get in on some action again keeping us busy while I anticipate the major bite. Then it was time to move and get set up where the tide was wrapping around a point and the major was getting ready to start.Well once the major and the tide kicked in together and the fish were chummed up, it turned into the feeding frenzy with snook and reds and a few lady's coming to the boat. The backs of these fish were coming out of the water chasing our chum and baits.Very cool and exciting for Bruce and Bob.I took a few pictures but the action was to good to slow these guys down with to many pics.

They had a total of 42 fish

25 Snook

11 Reds

6 Trout

Small to med whitebait was the choice of baits freelined with a few caught under the float.

Good full moon tides, timed with a major and bringing bait to an area with not alot of bait, with an approaching front was the combo that made for a good bite.
