(71.58.254.26)		We'll be visiting Fort DeSoto from 2/21/09 to 2/28/09 and are interested in doing some fishing.

Does anyone have any tips or good spots to share? We'd love to hear anything.

Fletchlives, welcome to the forum! As far as spots, the area used to be a bombing range so there are lot's of potholes for fish to pool in and the deeper grass flats have been great for the speckled trout.

Don't know if you've used it before but you may want to check out flash mapping. You can zoom in on the area and see the potholes and shallow topography. http://www.flashearth.com/
