Location: Palmetto/Bradenton | Well been out over last few days, and the fishing is starting to get back to where we all love it if you have the patience and the ability to be stealthy. The fish we found were in real shallow water and vary spooky with one wrong move you could count your self out at catching anything, but with the right moves you could be on fish for the next couple hours. Most fish were found in pockets of deep water on the flats surrounded by extreme shallows and with some found around docks. These fish are still in their winter to fall transition but with a couple more weeks of warm weather it could bust loose any day now as water temps were in low 60's in the morning and almost 70 degrees by the end of the day. By the end of the day our numbers totalled 6 reds from 18" to 30", snook were on fire with a total of 25 with sizes from 20" to 27", trout could be caught on every cast from 15" to 22" and throw in a couple flounder that were just under size. Well were getting close to some great fishing if this weather will stay in a steady pattern. Well till next time ----- Capt. Dave Bouquin (941)705-1327
