| It was some trout, mostly snook and a real nice slob of a red!! We were fishing an area and the bite was slow with a few missed hits to boot.Well we see a few hits right at the end of a sand bar and we fish this area and then Cozetta gets a good hit and drag pull on shrimp but no hook up.So while I am getting a bait for Cozetta Scott says "hey switch spots with me" and she moves over and Scott fires a sardine over to the area and within seconds he has Cozettea's fish on.After a real good battle we get a sweet red to the boat and I had to tell Scott the fish was oversized and we have to put it back. After that the joke of the day was " Hey switch spots with me".After a little while with no bites we made a move. The prior three days of colder weather had slowed my bite down but It was starting to warm up.We worked hard for the fish and I had to make some precise casts to get the fish to bite for them.If you did not get the bait practically in their mouth they would not chase a bait down.At the end of the trip they caught Trout, lady fish Snook and a sweet red and the trip ended off not to bad for a slow bite. These guys were repeat customers and left happy again. We did get hits on large shrimp and on the 2 previous trips snook did take shrimp. Most of the fish were caught on live sardines
