| Hi All,
I am new to the forum but not necessarily the Tampa area. I come to the area several times a year either on business or with the sole purpose of fishing.
This time I am coming with the sole purpose to fish and I am bringing a few friends (about 7 to be exact). We are looking for inshore fishing guide(s) who is(are) familiar with the waters and can work with a group of our side (probably 2 boats).
We are a group of 8 African-American experienced fishermen ranging in age from 33 - 62. We like live bait fishing and artificials and we would love to have a guide who is als0 a great teacher - who can teach us as we catch lots of fish. We're mostly from the North East so we are totally game for learning fishing methods specific to your lovely bay area.
The guide forum is helpful indeed, but I am wondering if someone can let recommend a guide(s) for our group off of that list. If you're a guide and you're up to the challenge please let me know.
Many thanks,
Alex III | |

| Alex, Perhaps I misinterpreted what you were trying to get across in your post, but I can say myself or any of the other captains on this site will accomodate fellow fisherman regardless of age, race, or experience. If you want a challenge, bring it on! Any of the guides on this site can give your group a day they will never forget. Before taking out any client, I have a lengthy conversation w them over the phone. I want to know where your from, what youve previously caught, any species that may be on your agenda, what it is you want to take back w you from this trip, those are just to name a few. Some people want to catch that one big fish. Others want to go out and catch as many different things they can. Being on the same page w the client is where a successful trip begins. Talk w some different guides here, and you will find the one or ones you want. Best of luck on your trip and keep me in mind when you make your decision. ----- Capt. Brian Epperson
