Location: Tampa | The last three trips I have done have been an absolute pleasure. Honestly the fishing has not been on fire. Its been catch one here and catch one there. But it has been very interesting and rewarding.
First trip was the adoption benefit held this past Saturday. I had planned to take Matt and his two son's Jackson and Joey. Joey 8 yrs old couldn't make it as he has cancer and his blood count was to low. I will be taking him on another trip when he is up to it. We didn't set the world on fire but Joey and dad had a blast catching trout and a couple of snapper. It took Joey a while to get the hang of it but it was not long and he was puttin a whooping on Dad. Here is Joey with a couple of fish caught. To him they were giants. To me the smile made my day!
My next trip was on Monday. This was another day we didn't set the world on fire. But one by one these guys put some fish in the box. Bob and Jim ended the day getting two nice trout at 22", a couple of mango's and two fat reds. The tip at the end of the trip told me they had a good day. Sorry didn't take time for pics of this trip.
Today's half day trip was with my Uncle Manuel and his son Dave. My uncle is down for a few days from PA and they wanted a few fish for a fish fry. I was a little worried that getting enough fish for there fry may not happen but I took them out and they knocked them down one at a time. Three nice flounder a couple of mango's and two reds made for enough for the fish fry. I'm sure there will be a few fillet's left over for my Mom. Here's a few shots I took when we got back to the house. The flounder
