Thsi past week made for some tough fishing. The water temp was hanging around 65 degrees but after this last front it dropped down to 60 and some places 58 degrees.

This really changes things up. Just before the front we were catching some decent snook,reds and trout but that all change with the front.

I had Richard and Derek from Virginia out with me this day. I really wanted to get them a snook but it was just not to be in the area I fish.

With that being the case it was trout and redfish as the target. Things started a little slow with only a couple of trout coming to the boat. I made a few moves and the sweet spot was found.

Richard and Derek caught and released over 70 redfish. They were not big but it kept there rods bent and they were happy to be out on the water spending some pre Christmas time together.
