Hi Everyone. You might know me from CapMel's forums -- my name is Poyssick, and I co-authored the book Skinny: How to Fish in Shallow Saltwater by Mel Berman. Many of us are talking about where to catch fish when it's cold, windy, and generally disgusting wintery frigid shouldn't-be-out-in-it weather. And almost to the person, we consider dock fishing the way to go. There are redfish, snook, puppy (small black) drum, and sizeable trout to be found under residential docks all over the bay and the intercoastals. You can go to http://againsttheclock.com/book_detail.asp?id=99 and -- by clicking on the Download Sample Chapter button on the right side navigation bar (under the picture of the cover) -- grab a freebie chapter. It's the chapter about fishing underneath residential docks in the wintertime. It's only about 9 or 10 pages (out of 220 total) but a lot of the reviewers thought it was very educational and could take winter fishing to a new level for anybody that's not familiar skip-casting a Select Shrimp three feet under a dock. All we can say is hang on But try it. We would love to hear your feedback on the content -- especially now. poyssick
