Thanks for taking the time to post The Kidd, that's a lot of catfish. Did you keep the black tip and how were you fishing?

Thanks again, TBC.

#1 circle hook free line 20lb, greenbacks for bait yeah we keep moving around trying to get away from the cats but it just wasn’t working black tip seemed like a trophy by the end of the day so yeah we kept it. I'm going again this Sunday morning so hopefully I’ll have a better report to share with pics

That'd be great... we're gonna be in that general area tomorrow and I'll be sure to post what we find. Barfly got his flats boat back so we'll probably be sticking in the shallows around Whedon but if it's calm we'll probably try our luck out in the bay a bit.

Well, we went out there.... love what Chuck did to Barfly's flats boat, it's very fishable! Unfortunately though the fish weren't impressed. We hit a bunch of spots, but mostly in the bay as he water was so calm and didn't catch a thing... other than a little sun.

Had engine trouble on that new 90hp E-Tech, I think he's gonna get rid of that if he can. It was spitting and sputtering all day.

I can say we shared the same luck. No fish lots of Sun  and yes engine problems... fishing trip was cut short and I believe I will certainly be retiring my Chrysler engine as well which will unfortunately put me on an unwanted pause. Barfly can at least use the Yamaha and continue the fun and I'm sure that's what he'll do
