REELING FOR ROCK
1st Annual King Fishing Tournament October 8th & 9th 2010
Inshore/Offshore
We invite you to join us at Gators Cafe and Saloon on October 8th and 9th for the first annual "Reeling for Rock" charity fishing tournament. Come out and help us support the family of Johnny "Rock" Hudson. Even if you don't fish, don't let that stop you! Come have some fun with our friends and family. There will be a special section designated for us on Gators' east deck with raffles, food, drinks, and live entertainment. Fun for all ages.

John Sydney Hudson III was born on August 31, 1970. "Johnny Rock," as most of us called him, was an electrical lineman employed by TECO for 19 years. On the morning of Monday, June 7th, he was critically injured while working on high voltage lines on Bruce B. Downs Blvd. in New Tampa. Johnny was transported by bay flight to Tampa General's burn unit where he spent the next two days in a fight for his life. Family and friends rushed to his side, monopolizing the burn unit's waiting room with an unwavering army of 150 loved ones holding an around the clock vigil. Doctors performed multiple surgeries in every effort to save him, but Johnny lost his fight and passed away on June 8, 2010. He left behind his beautiful wife Jennifer and his two daughters Payton and Jillian. Johnny touched the lives of many; whether it was at work spending countless hours, often in inclement weather, restoring power to others, or on the track where he was an avid motocross rider. Johnny was well known for his acts of kindness and involvement in charity functions. He also loved spending time coaching the Lutz Leaguerettes softball team his girls played for.

Johnny may not be here to tend to his young wife and two little girls anymore, but we the linemen of Tampa Electric have taken that honor upon ourselves so that our friend and brother's family will not be alone in their time of need.

So please help us in helping them by being a part of this special event. Included in this packet are the rules, entry form, and the purse information regarding the tournament. Please direct all questions to Erik Peden at ReelingforRock@Gmail.com. You may also find us on www.facebook.com - Search "Johnny Rock." Thank you for your support and we hope to see you out there on October 8th and 9th
