Well, my GPS is still out to lunch and haven't heard from John about using his hand held or going out with him so thouht I would just be doing the flats. I think I've been saved though as Nick just emailed about hitting the Kings on his boat on Saturday.
I might go out Sunday too, it'll depend on the kids. There's a nice low tide in the afternoon that might make the flats worthwhile... then there's always the bridges and the sheeps.
I might be available Sunday if you decide to hit it. I would rather have you make the drive but if there's nothing going on and you're going out it's a possibility. I'm not too keen on the sheepshead fishing but I wouldn't mind hitting the flats down there.
I like the look of the tide but it is a little late in the day for me.

I'll give you a call in the afternoon tomorrow then. A friend from work, Ron, said that he might be up for an adventure on Sunday. He's always going early though so I'm not sure how the timing works for him either.
Maybe I'll just get my fix tomorrow... but if not: leave late and try the sheeps on the later outgoing and then the flats on both sides of low tide. I know what you're saying about sheepshead fishing but it's never bothered me as long as I was catching fish. (smiley here)
Just an FYI, I got my fix... I'll put up a report in a bit so it's not gonna kill me to not go out tomorrow. Also, that flats that I wanted to hit... we were coming back just after low tide and had a look and there wasn't much going on but mullet. I've had the best success there on low tide and within the first half hour of the outgoing though so it still might be decent. ----- Bay Area Boat Ramps | Tampa Bay Dockside Dining
