Snook weren't today. Talked to Capt. Jim lemke yesterday at the Fl sportsman show yesterday about some poons that i haven't been able to get to eat. And he recommended a Doa terroreyez. So when i woke up this morning i decided to go try for a hour before work what he recommend. When i got there the poons were rolling but they still weren't eating. I was casting at some rolling fish and saw a snook swimming down the shore line so i reeled in and pitched it in front of him and he ate right away it he was a nice slot fish. While heading back to the car i was casting at some more rolling fish when i saw another snook swimming down the shore line so i reeled in some and the jig ended up hitting him in the back and he did a 360 and ate the jig. He ended up being 37" which is the biggest snook i landed this month. I would like to thank Capt Jim lemke for the tip on the terroreyez even though i didn't catch a poon it still got me a nice snook.
