| I went our last friday and had a pretty nice trip. We caught six Blue Fish and 10 mackerel. There we a couple nice size mackeral that were around 22-24 inches. We were trolling with spoons and plugs. WE hit a big school right off Fort Desoto. We also caught the some while we were anchored out in front of the Holiday Inn on St Pete Beach. We used live bait for the hook ups.... My Buddy also caught a big Bonita that he fought for a about 25 minutes on his small pole. Anyway the trip was a success and the fish were hittin. Location: Pinellas Point | Thanks for the report and it sounds like big fun! It's a great time of year to be able to get out there... in a month or so we'll be around the bridges looking for you (sheepshead) instead of the big macks and kings.
