Plenty of reds and some small trout can be seen milling around on the ultra low tides. What's up with the damm lizardfish?! They're everywhere. Ended the day with 3 reds, 4 small trout, and more lizardfish than I care to count. All caught using live shrimp on a #1 circle hook with a splitshot sinker placed on 20# flourocarbon leader about 18 inches from the hook.
Thanks for the report and congrats on the redfish, hopefully we'll start getting some bigger trout, we've got a bunch of dinks down here too.
For the rest, Barfly and I are business partners here and he's a long time fishing bud who has taught me alot about fishing the area. John, it's good to have you posting.
About the lizards, did you read the article in the times about the "lizard man"? Maybe he'd be interested in the marine variety.
Barfly, I think we met at the oyster roast at TBC's. I've hear Scott fishes with you all the time and you're in my area. Maybe we can get together to toss out a line sometime.
We were killing the reds around there a couple of weeks ago.
